I’ve put this page together to share with all the friends who say “that’s my husband’s dream trip” after I mention our summer adventure. Note that Brendan did the heavy lifting in planning and orchestrating this trip. He used several online sources, blogs and sheer will to get it done. Regrettably, I pinned images of campfire recipes that would never come to fruition.
She ain't a beauty but hey, she's all right.
Day 1 - Boston to Salt Lake City
Our RVShare lessor luckily worked by the airport and for a fee cheaper than Uber with five people, agreed to pick us up in the RV.
Quick tutorial about the rig and we were on our way. Note - WRITE THINGS DOWN and ask a lot of questions. Because we took in a lot of info in a short amount of time. Have them talk you through troubleshooting and how to not waste battery life, etc.
Ate at a Killer Mexican restaurant not far from airport - it was featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives.
Head to Jackson/the Grand Tetons for our first night of camping!
Day 2
Deal with some of us having
Dave Hanson White Water Rafting - rapids were too high for our youngest to hit the white waters, but we did the 3 hour easy Snake river cruise and it was divine. Definitely do this with your family. The Dave Hanson company was organized and accommodating and trustworthy. We highly recommend them.
